Ethics code of conduct

Ethics code of conduct

Members who are registered as practitioners at SignoPro are required to sign the following ethical code of conduct.

Note that members do not work for Signo in any of the professional and practitioner roles they are registered. SignoPro is an accountability organisation for multiple helping roles. Practitioner numbers at SignoPro should not be confused with practitioner numbers at established professional bodies. Not all our members are practitioners / professional helpers, but those who practice should have a practice number with us and should have an active profile on our database. The ethics code of conduct is supplementary to what is required by established professional bodies but can in some cases stand on its own for certain member roles where other professional bodies do not focus, for certain roles or specific paradigms or subsections of helping practices.

The ethics code of conduct may be updated from time to time. The public can send comments, praise and critique regarding any member. Be sure to ask for a member’s SignoPro practice number that we will need in correspondence.

  1. We welcome any feedback, questions or comments
